Roles and Responsibilities:
Content Management:
Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality journalistic content.
Ensure all content adheres to Europinion’s editorial standards and guidelines.
Work with writers and contributors to develop compelling and accurate stories.
Editorial Planning:
Develop and implement editorial calendars and content strategies.
Identify emerging trends and topics relevant to Europinion’s audience.
Collaborate with the partnerships team to align content with organisational goals and initiatives.
Quality Assurance:
Proofread and fact-check articles to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all content.
Provide constructive feedback to writers to help them improve their work.
Team Coordination:
Manage a team of writers, freelancers, and contributors.
Assign tasks and manage deadlines to ensure timely publication of content.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for the editorial team.
Audience Engagement:
Monitor audience engagement and feedback to inform editorial decisions.
Engage with readers through comments, social media, and other platforms.
Implement strategies to grow and retain Europinion’s readership.
Qualifications:
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of journalistic principles and ethics.
Experience in an editorial role, preferably in the media or publishing industry.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Passion for journalism and commitment to Europinion’s mission.
