The event constitutes the first of a two-part series on the role of the Nordic countries in NATO and intends to offer insights and context into the role and contributions of Norway, Denmark, and Iceland to NATO since 1949, with a particular emphasis on the Cold War and developments since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
