Ali Erdem began his role as an Editor at Europinion in September 2024, bringing a solid foundation in political science and a genuine passion for literature. Alongside being a first-year Political Science and International Relations student at the London School of Economics, Ali Erdem has engaged in various editorial and research roles in the past, and he continues to do so in different mediums available to him.

He has participated in think tanks to collaborate with policy experts, and his work covers a range of critical issues in public policy and international relations, such as the geopolitical decoding of the dispute between Russia and Ukraine as well as the sociological outcomes of the refugee influx in Turkey. He has also individually contributed to academic discourses through peer-reviewed articles that explore themes of queerness in Gothic literature and the nuanced portrayal of human nature in classic and postmodern works. Drawing from hands-on experience in editing at different publishing houses and research he conducted individually and with experts, he is committed to contributing thoughtfully to Europinion’s editorial direction, which will help shape content that resonates with readers in the most meaningful way possible.
